Karaoke evening by Rita Gyuris

3rd October 2013
As our evening activity for Thursday we had karaoke. Two of the staff started singing to brake the ice, and then we could sign up for singing on a slip of paper. The Germans weren’t shy to apply for singing. There was a little boy who was sent on stage about three times to sing. The famous song from the movie Titanic was sung by an Italian girl, which was not bad.
I sang two songs, the first was “No one” by Alicia Keys and the second one was “Read all about it” by Emeli Sandé. I could tell from the reaction of the audience that I could sing these well.

Then Mr. Módos sang “(Hey ho) Snow” by Red Hot Chilli Peppers. There was a standing ovation! As it is a KSE tradition, at the end of the karaoke night we all sang “Y.M.C.A.”. We really enjoyed this evening in the Baptist Church.
